We had an incredible experience at a secluded beach retreat. The well-maintained accommodations, including tents and bungalows, provided a cozy and comfortable stay. The beach was like paradise, with hammocks and a pool table available for our enjoyment. The highlight was the breathtaking sunset at Sunset Beach. We also enjoyed the hike through the jungle to reach the beach. It was a challenging trek, but totally worth it.

Despite the negatives, the location of the hotel was amazing. the beach was peaceful and the hike to the hotel, although challenging, added a sense of adventure. the communal meals offered by the hotel were exceptional, with delicious BBQ and pasta dishes. the rain cover on our tent worked well during a storm, providing comfort and protection. it's important to note that there are alternative accommodations available on the island that may offer a better experience.
The customer service was extremely poor. the manager was rude and impolite, making us feel unwelcome from the very beginning.

The secluded location offers a pristine beach with stunning sunsets. Homemade bread for breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff and clean premises. The walk from Saracen adds to the adventure. Finer, whiter sand and a large stretch of shallow beach at Sunset Beach.

The beach was absolutely stunning, with crystal clear waters and soft white sand. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The staff were friendly and helpful, always on hand to assist with any questions or requests. The food at the bar was delicious, especially the Khmer dishes cooked by the talented local chefs.
The tipis were quite hot during the day, making it uncomfortable to stay inside. Additionally, there were not enough hammocks available, so it was often difficult to find a spot to relax.

The location of this backpacker hostel was absolutely amazing. Situated right between the lush jungle and a secluded, beautiful beach, it couldn't get any better. the bungalows were surprisingly comfortable and clean, considering the tropical setting. the staff were laid back and created a relaxed environment. They even allowed us to make a tab for all our expenses and pay at check-out. Plus, the crepes on the menu were a delightful French touch.
The bathroom facilities were quite basic, as to be expected on an island getaway.

This beachfront resort offers an idyllic setting, with comfortable accommodations right on the beach. Guests can choose between spacious tree tents and cool tipis, both equipped with amenities like lock boxes and mosquito nets. the resort also provides plenty of entertainment options, including billiards, boules, and board games. the food at the on-site restaurant is delicious, with highlights being the pizza and crepes. the location is perfect for swimming with bioluminescent plankton and the beach is stunning and well-maintained.
Some guests experienced issues with the shower water having a strange smell and taste and occasional low pressure.

I had the most incredible time at Sleeping Trees! The beach was like a slice of paradise, with hammocks, books, and a pool table to keep me entertained. The tents and bungalows were clean and well maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was the hike to Sunset Beach, which was totally worth the effort. The environment and being close to nature added to the charm of the place. The solar-powered lighting around the area was a nice touch too. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and nature-centric getaway.
While the accommodation and beach were amazing, I did encounter a few drawbacks during my stay. The beach on one side was quite rough and had litter washed up, making swimming a challenge.

We had a fantastic time at Sleeping Trees, staying for four days. The tipi was surprisingly spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The location was excellent, with a beautiful beach perfect for night kayaking to see the luminous plankton. The staff were friendly and the owner, despite not always looking like it, was welcoming. The food was good, although a bit pricey, and don't miss out on trying their amazing homemade rum at the bar. a peaceful and sociable stay with great views and memorable sunsets.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my stay. The bungalow I stayed in was clean, comfy, and provided everything I needed. The food, although mostly French, was delicious and the day deals were a great value. While there were a few drawbacks like the lack of Wi-Fi and AC, I found it added to the charm of the place.
